ABOUT THE AUTHOR
C. Cooper Ard was born at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi and raised a military brat. He grew up in Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, Nebraska and North Dakota as well as West Germany. Ard attended high school in Bellevue, Nebraska where his poetry writing began. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Marketing. While in college, Ard became one of the founding members of the band, the Ladders. The group never recorded professionally, but did write and play their own material for nearly a decade. Many of those song lyrics are included in this book. After college, Ard managed stores for a major music and video retailer in the southeast. Ard currently works as an Inventory Control Manager for a global leader of point-of-sale technology. Ard is an avid tennis player and participates in several singles leagues year-round. He carries a 3.5 USTA rating. Ard is an Eagle Scout and serves as an advancement coordinator for the Boy Scouts of America. Ard lives in Georgia with his wife and two children.
